SURVIVE THE JANUARY SLOPE WHILE PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

Surely after these December holidays and all the expenses you made during the month of December, they will have an impact on your economy and are reflected in the January slope. But this time we'll share some tips that can help you reduce costs, while protecting the environment.

Protecting the environment doesn't require major actions, you can even start from home.

  1. Use reusable products. There are products that can be used several times before going to buy a new one. In this way, you avoid the indiscriminate consumption of products and transport costs.
  2. Turn off any lights you don't need. This will help lower your electricity bill and reduce energy consumption. In addition, you can opt for energy efficient bulbs while maintaining the same performance.
  3. Do not leave appliances plugged in. Even if the devices are turned off, while they are kept plugged in they consume energy, so we recommend that you unplug all those that are not essential.
  4. Do not leave faucets open. Whenever you don't use water, turn off the faucet and make sure there are no leaks. In addition, you can install a water economizer.
  5. Take advantage of natural light. This way you reduce the consumption of electric light.
  6. Give wastewater a new use. Use the water in the washing machine to wash other areas of your house or, if it doesn't have cleaning products, you can use it to water your plants.
  7. Eat local foods. Buying food close to your home is cheaper and healthier, in addition to this it avoids the consumption of fuel to transport you long distances.

We invite you to leave in comments more sustainable actions that can help us reduce costs on this January slope. Remember that protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility.
